From Mar 25 to 28, the recruiters from 27 enterprises in SIP visited five universities in Chengdu, capital of Southwest China’s Sichuan province, where they offered job vacancies to graduating students majoring in nanotech, new materials and related subjects.

The event was organized by Suzhou Nanotech Co Ltd and SIP Human Resources Development Co Ltd under the support of the Office of the Leading Group for Talent Development of CPC SIP Working Committee.

The event offered enterprises in SIP and the universities in Chengdu an opportunity to seek cooperation in talent cultivation, such as jointly offering scholarships and establishing training bases.

The recruitment tour started on Mar 26 when the recruiters visited Chengdu University of Information Technology and received lots of resumes from students from the school’s communication engineering and photonics departments.

On the same day, a job fair was held at Southwest Jiaotong University, attracting many students majoring in materials.

On Mar 27, the recruiters went to Sichuan University with the hope of attracting talents proficient in chemistry, new energy materials and devices, polymer materials and engineering and electronic information.

On the afternoon of Mar 27, the recruitment team attended the job fair at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.

On Mar 28, the recruiters visited Xihua University, attracting not only graduating students but also many sophomores and juniors who expect to work in SIP after graduation.
